In the real estate market, buyers, sellers and renters are all preparing for the year end. The LivNY Team had another very busy month in sales, purchases, and rentals. Sellers are looking to close transactions and buyers are still on the hunt for deals. There is a decent supply of apartments on the market and a good balance of expectations. It’s been a good experience to work on both sides of the transaction; with sellers who are looking for the highest price, and buyers who are looking for bargains.
Renters are still scrambling to secure apartments, although there are a lot of apartment hunters that have flexible lease terms. In this market, you snooze you lose. The minute a good rental is listed it is off the market before you know it. If you see a apartment that you like, apply…quickly!
